I can tell you that I like to do everything involving conversations with
email.

Using a forum is cumbersome and tedious. Rarely are forums using similar
software, and often I find that the forums are using software that is
incompatible with intuitive thinking. (consimworld.com, x-plane.org)

There are forums that function similarly, but then the subject matter isn't
following easy to spot layouts - sometimes a particular section that I'm in
dire need of - usually in product support forums - is almost as hard to find
as is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Or doesn't exist. Or the
color combination is either garish or the colors are too light and similar
to the background to read.

And don't even get me started on Google Groups pages. That's abysmal. I'd
rather use Yahoo Groups.

I'm not 23 any more - and I require reading glasses to read the dang
newspaper. My email program shows my mail in black and white. I'd rather
have everything in a yahoo group.

How does my forum or any forum do irreparable damage or harm?
I would like to see examples if you can provide it.
