I got them at an Asian grocery store.  They're actually plastic bento boxes.  
As for the model inside, did you notice that all of the assembled bits were 
do-overs of the same part.  I keep boogering it up.

        Ah Ha! John, that is exactly what I am in process of doing. Next week I 
must drive four family members to Las Vegas. We have tickets to the JERSEY 
BOYS. To keep from feeding the Slot Machines I will take along my Traveling 
Card Model Station. It is a wooden box originally containing Armoral Car waxes. 
Taped to the top is a self sealing cutting pad. This is very handy and it fits 
nicely in the bottom of my rolling suit case. Two photos attached.
