I think Bradley means the Google Groups "Discussions" page. I have
occasionally had this problem too, in fact it happened a few moments
ago. The right-hand column of links ("Home/Discussions/+new post/Pages/
Files" etc.) appears by the left-hand margin, covering up the "Topic"
column for the first few threads. Reloading the page has always
cleared the problem immediately, so I assume that it is a glitch in
Google's HTML generation system.
For the record, I use Firefox, and it has occurred with both 3.0.x and
3.5.x.
