That was the beauty of the Thermo-Quad carburetor.  I could sell three or 
four a week when I got started in the auto parts business back in the '80's. 
The hot ticket for that came out around '94, when Holley developed a 
smog-legal replacement.

I occasionally (only occasionally!) miss the '73 Imperial I drove for
several years. When it ran at all, it ran well, and was a dream to
drive. It ate carburetors like candy, though, and *maybe* managed 8
miles to the gallon.
