Hi JW: Please accept my apologies for conveying the wrong point. I need to work on my writing skills. No, you cannot wear a C-Path machine while driving as far as I know. I would never attempt it. Sleep apnea can seriously deprive the body of oxygen. The C-Path machine prevents that from happening.
Keep in mind that in the more serious sleep apnea cases the heart actually momentarily stops after you've exhaled and just before your brain sends a signal through the central nervous system to your lungs to inhale. I spent a night in the Kaiser sleep clinic years ago and the technician told me the next morning that according to the approximately 40 MB of data that they recorded, that my heart stopped about 300-350 times during the night. Anyone who suspects that they might have sleep apnea should not hesitate to get themselves checked out. Nowadays they give you a home monitor so that you don't generally have to stay in the clinic overnight.
