Bob,

Losing a gift of any kind is deeply unsettling. :-/

Have you bought yourself a Stainless Steel Sharpie yet? They're only
six or seven dollars, and the refills (Yes: a refillable Sharpie!) are
only two dollars or so. They're a bit fatter than the regular Sharpie,
but don't (yet) come in anything but the normal "fine" point.
