Paul, You don't see a problem, and I agree that there shouldn't be one, but it isn't up to us: it's up to whoever holds the copyright to the art. Granted, you can probably just go ahead and nothing will happen, but if the copyright holders notice and object, the backlash could be anything from a simple C&D to a full-blown lawsuit.
