Ok, the hot water bath and subsequent heavy object on top of it did not work.
Not sure I want to try the Hot vehicle method, besides, my truck is black so......What's the temp of the sun again?? :D I am trying the gluing it to a firm surface method. While it might keep it flat it may not function as it should. I will let you know. I did purchase another mat though, The Gingher 12x18 double sided mat, it is rather thick. Jo-An Fabrics had a sale. The one I had has been used for a LONG TIME!!! Thanx for the input!! Russ p.s.
