Last January our son was sailing his yacht from the Caribbean to New Zealand passing through the Panama Canal. We knew he was to pass through Miraflores locks in the afternoon so I logged onto the hi res webcam and was just in time to see his boat in the lock. It was amazing that we just got the right moment and in our excitement I only had time to take a photo of the screen and not save the screen but that pic came out quite well. He and his boat are now in New Zealand after having survived the Samoan Tsunami wave at one of the islands.
