Christine,
     I share your pain.  We lost my father 6 years ago around this
time of year.  He would have been 86 this season, and lived a good
long life until the end as well.  I also took it very hard, but do my
best to remember all of the good times we had.  I'm not looking
forward to the day we lose my mother, though, since she's all I've got
left of either parents or grandparents.

     My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this
rough time.
