I have used a CISS for about 4 years now and have been very pleased with it. I first used it in an Epson printer until it refused to print any more because the ink overflow pad was full and could only be reset by Epson. I bought an identical printer off eBay and this worked with the same CISS until the plastic carriage wore out. I then bought a Canon iP 4600 printer complete with a CISS and this is working well. I print out all my photos which amounts to a few thousand each year and I am very pleased with the results.
I find that any models printed by inkjet will fade in the sun after a while but laser prints hold good.
