Thank you Jim, I used paper stick ons for the wheel coverings and the P-47 engine front. The only concern I have in adding insignias would be a protective coating required due to constant gripping of the fuselage by the owner. Some I play with the actual printed side up such as the Santa Clause Coke Spitfires I gave away as Christmas gifts or the Coke Zeros. Different beer and soda cans have interesting coloring which makes life interesting when taking an unusual assortment through the check out. Finding an easy to use adhesive is an ongoing search however the Loctite Stik ‘n Seal has proved to be the best so far but the gluing process is still too slow. Bob Penikas

I like the rivets and other surface details that you included, quite striking! Now you might want to consider how to add insignia, perhaps print them out on bond paper and glue them to the aluminum? Thanks for sharing photos of your work! Cheers! Jim -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
