Here's where I'm at so far..I'm not sure how anyone could build this in its
original size...so many domes and curves and small parts. So far I've got in
the wig wag, sax valves, head fins and on one side the snozzlewobblers and ear
with more bits yet to go on ...on top is the beginning of the whifflesnodger
that will carry the 3 snorkelfloggers and as yet unattached top 2 part
tectonicsnuffler. A coat of clear flat will hopefully less obvious the glossy
glue splodges and joins in the main head section.
A bit of advice for anyone attempting this,...get yourself two things, one
being a rubber coated ball from an old ball mouse and the other a burnishing
tool that has a small steel ball on the end, these are brilliant for shaping
the compound curves of this model from the inside prior to gluing on
The 41 heat fins on his head are tedious but will make this thing look great
when finished. I'm leaving the antenna loops off until I figure out how to glue
the dome on...that mystery is yet to come.
Many more parts to be done yet before Robby's cruet is ready to be put aside
and the body started...updates will be forthcoming.

NB not all descriptions of parts are necessarily accurate ...some poetic
licence has been used due to the apparent non-availability of details of some
items.
