For my models I use 160 gm/m2 text and graphics paper available from office supply shops such as Staples. There is no problem with glue and if you want your model a bit glossy then you can spray it with lacquer from an Art shop. I have used several coats of polyurethane varnish diluted with white spirit which also makes the model really stiff and strong. Any ink jet ink will fade in colour if left in sunlight and coating it may give it some resistance to fading.
