Thank you all for the nice comments and best wishes. It sure helps.
Days go by slowly, not being able to use my right hand. Not much, at least.
Typing still goes well, I still have my thumb and index finger on my right
hand
which I can move freely.
Niels: not to make you feel bad, but it hurts a lot more, now, then it did
the first day.
The impact of the fire extinguisher didn't hurt much. At least, I can't
remember pain at that
moment.
It's everything that comes afterwards that hurts. I nearly fainted in the
First Aid room, sweating
like crazy. Trembling all the way to the hospital, then getting stabbed with
needles. Those
local anesthesias hurt like hell but as soon as your finger goes numb, so
does the pain. Temporarily.
The next day my wounds were very painful and thus far, the pain is fading
only slowly.
I am not taking any painkillers. I don't like pills and injections. The less
the better.
It was all just a case of bad luck. I just didn't have my day. Shit
happens...... And my advice to
you all: stay away from tetanus shots. They hurt and the pain lasts for
days.....
And now I'll stop. No more whining about a sore finger.
Despite being handicapped I managed to upload a model of the Japanese MV-4
rocket. I also
have been working on my website. The coming weeks I'll have plenty of time
to work on it
some more.
Thank you all, again !
Be careful....! ;-)
Erik.
