To make sure that Canon's Dancing Santa hs a long operational time, I made this modification
Parts number 10 and 11 create the primary cam for the mechanism it will take the most use and abuse, just gluing it face to face to part 12 will lead to early failure. I cut off the hexagon portion of part 12, glued the lower four tabs of the cam to the Back of the hexgon then glued the top two tabs of the cam to the back of the remaining part of left side of 12.. then folded the right side over and glued it over the chnges, it is much stronger.. No pictures available right now, neither of my camear batterys will retain a working charge.
