Hello everybody, and thank you for your help! I tried your
suggestions, and it seems the files are there, and the download links
do point to the right place, they just work a little bit differently
than most PDF links it seems:

When I *left-click* the download links without a file extension (like
you would normally do to have the PDF file open in your browser) they
come up as a gibberish text file... :o(

But when I *right-click* them and choose "Save as...", the "Save
as..." dialog box recognizes it as a PDF file and adds the file
extension automatically. Then, after I've saved them to my computer, I
can open them without problem. ;o)

(When I save the text files and then change the file extension from
*.txt to *pdf manually, the file ends up either empty or just
unreadable though, so that method doesn't work for me...)

I will let Olli know about this, although he didn't have any problems
himself I'm sure he will like to know this solution so that if
somebody else comes to him with the same question, he can have them
try it too. Thank you all again for your time! ;o)
