Yes Painted Desert, Petrified Forest are awesome and well worth seeing. Chicago is brillant and the great lake is beyong words, I had no idea how great it was. We did a ghost ship 'cruise' which was great.
Seattle is fantastic. If you want beauty visit Oregon or Maine they are georgous. The Dayton air muesum is fantastic as well. Duunno, if you can tell, but I love visiting the states and am planning third trip for next year. to see stuff we missed and revisit some places we rushed. We have a new travel, 5 nights minimum in any city, there is just too much to see and anything less feels rushed.
