I have a friend who purchased for his wife a Circuit pattern cutting machine? He saw a few of my small animal models by Canon and asked me if there is a way to convert PDF files to the format the Circuit Machine uses? I certainly don’t know the answer but I have read posts here about some of you who own and use these cutters and I told him I would ask the group.
Anyone have an answer or can suggest where to look?

I think you mean Cricut. The short answer is probably not.

I was tutoring someone who uses several brands of plotter/cutters. There's a program called Make The Cut (http://make-the-cut.com/) that is compatible with many cutters and does lots of file conversions. It used to be able cut directly to Cricut. He also made available a free plug-in for other programs. Cricut sued and he's no longer allowed to make those available. They really want to keep their machine locked into their proprietary file form.

I don't have any leads for something similar.

Sorry.
