No, I'm pretty sure that Java isn't the problem simply because I did remove
Java completely from my
Firefox and I'm able to access this homepage pretty well. I also disabled
Javascript by using the
noscript-plugin and even without javascript I had no problems with this website.

Is it possible that some of you are using a kind of proxy firewall which block
the access to this
website for any reason? How about a traceroute or a portscan to this website?

I did a portscan with this result:
$ nmap -P0 www.papercrafts.it

Starting Nmap 6.25 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2013-04-12 13:51 CEST
Nmap scan report for www.papercrafts.it (81.31.155.41)
Host is up (0.068s latency).
rDNS record for 81.31.155.41: jmhlsm03.colt-engine.it
Not shown: 988 filtered ports
PORT STATE SERVICE
21/tcp open ftp
25/tcp open smtp
80/tcp open http
110/tcp open pop3
113/tcp closed ident
143/tcp open imap
443/tcp open https
465/tcp open smtps
587/tcp open submission
993/tcp open imaps
995/tcp open pop3s
2222/tcp open EtherNet/IP-1

Nmap done: 1 IP address (1 host up) scanned in 7.89 seconds

As you can see port 80 is ready and alive.

CU, Wolfgang
