I went commercial and put a product on RPGNow. It seems like a logical choice to spend my free time pursuing a hobby or two that people might pay me for.
My first product is called Mystery Tower. I used RealDraw Pro 5 to make textures and Paint Shop Pro 7 for general editing. I got the initial shapes from Bryce 6 and Pepakura. I used Word 2007 for the instruction manual PDF and Debenu PDF Maximus for the parts PDF. I submitted the product with errors on a roof which could be seen on the cover pic. It took seeing the product online for my brain to kick in and realize that it needed fixing. I updated the product and then edited the cover pic to match. However 700 people had already looked at the product page. I hope they didn't look too hard. That experience alone was worth the price of admission (working after I got off work). That gave me a healthy dose of perfectionism. I'm researching, designing, texturing, and test building another product now. I have more planned. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
