They can't get it there - or they're too impatient to wait - and someone comes along with an illicit source like this, well, it's easy to understand how it happens.

There are also a bunch of folk who don't consider whether the seller is authorized to sell it. Or might not even think pirated stuff is out there. Yeah, hard to believe, ain't it.

Because of this list, I know to be suspicious.

I startled a jewelry designer by asking her if a $30 version of a necklace of hers was authorized. I would have bought it. She was so grateful to hear from me. She said they didn't even alter it one bit. I sigh occasionally when I look at her 14K gold genuine version. It's a lot more than $30.
