[1 Update] [Papermodels II 48536] some tricks in building Bones <[email protected]> Nov 23 06:38PM +1000 > I'd certainly like to see more comments and build pictures from > members on this list. > Bob Penikas Spot on Bob, It's always nice to have some knowledge on a model before you start. I started another model of the Enterprise but wasn't happy about the way it went together but Mr Ninjatoes, well his stuff is always good. Little tricks on builds are always handy to know and if it has been posted before well so be it. Some of us may be prehistoric but one can always learn something new and whatever makes a cardmodel better must ultimately add to the universe in a positive manner...hehehe...my excuse anyway !! Bones ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I may be schizophrenic , but at least I have each other !! -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. Bones Howdy Bones, I have been asked to create a Coors beer can L.A. County helicopter. Normally soda can builds are relatively easy using FiddlersGreen (FG) line patterns from their paper model Variations folders. Sadly though, in this case, FG does not have a Blackhawk or Seahawk helicopter pattern. Now I have an extra extreme high regard for the FG designers. Their simplified creations help us “builders” knock out impressive models. I am weeks into messing with trying to create a suitable beer can model using a complex paper model as reference. Bob Penikas [email protected] Nov 23 04:57AM -0500 Here's a snap shot of the beer can build in process. Ouch !!! that looks like a pile of work......I should think it'll be a beauty when finished though, keep up the great work. (yes, those are their actual call signs) Of course Valley Bird might be better suited to Spudweiser cans, given their massive plant in the Valley near Roscoe (something to see all lit up at night. cat [email protected] Nov 24 12:14AM -0500 Hi Cat, Coors is what the person to whom this model is intended for. . . drinks. : · ) Thank goodness for books on tape; keeping me company while I struggle through this project. [email protected] Nov 23 05:43AM -0500 Howdy Folks, Unhappy due to not finding an appropriate Get Well Card for a seriously ill brother-in-law I thought of his owning different boat craft that provided years of happiness for him and his family. I discovered a free cabin cruiser download from the internet; resulting in this build and sent it off to him this morning. Just wanted to share the idea, Bob Penikas -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
