This year Gunner picked something dear to him. He has a model of the house
where he spent the summers for his first 20 years. It has a full base and
lots of detail, but all on one page. With the center divider, it is simple
to convert to two pages, I just matched the dpi count to keep scale between
the pages. Much easier to build doubled in size and still has small
parts. I envy the people outside the US that use the larger card stock and
end up with larger models, but I would double page this even for the A3 (?)
paper! The only drawback is the wasted ink on the transition aqua
background and he may change that. He said he hates to see it on models
himself where you color the page then throw all but the parts away and was
just thinking "pretty" instead of functional. There is some reinforcing
with heavier card stock on four pieces, so pay attention to the diagram
directions! Nice enough to put the single printed page in a frame with the
aqua background! Looks like a really nice place to spend your summers.
You can find it through www.bildrum.com. I double printed to get raised
window sills and other areas and will cut and recess appropriate doors. As
usual, a VERY NICE model. Merry Christmas to you all that celebrate it and
I hope the new year brings you all good health and prosperity for you and
your families!
