Not exactly. : ) The cheque was made payable to Alphagraphix. On the amount line I wrote "Not more than ten pounds". I left the numbers box clear for them to write in the actual amount charged.
IIRC they charged me about £7.20 for one kit (NER crossing Keepers Cottage), a catalogue and postage. They also included a £1 voucher off my next purchase and a note from the designer / publisher. I spent the voucher when I ordered my next models from them. Both the keepers cottage and the waiting shelter included a set of scale posters and notice boards suitable for different railway periods. They are nice people and they produce some wonderful models. They are not on the net, but they sometimes come up on Ebay.
