No offense, but not deleting your browser history/temp folder
once in a while isn't that interesting.
A friend once had his PC crashed because of that. The temp
folder was configured to take wathever space it needed, which
eventualy it did...
Also,, there's a big chance that your browser deletes your
history older than a certain set time (2 weeks in my case)

You should be able to find the site in your computer's
history, especially as you know the date you visited it.
