Glad it brought back some good memories for you Bob, similar memories
for me. My father and I were avid shooters when I was young. he had a
collection of Winchesters, 25/20, 32/30, 44/40, all hex barrel, half
magazine 92 or 94 actions, can't remember. They had the full slide
breech with two rectangular pins locking the breech block on the final
close of the lever. Also a Henry replica with a brass receiver and no
front stock. What happened ?? political correctness and stupidity is
what happened however this is not the forum for that discussion.

I would suggest using 200 gsm to build this, I used 125 gsm and it's a
bit light in places, the heavier card would be a lot better. Happy
building, look forward to some photos when you're done.
