Just finished Julius Perdana's Avenger from Mass Effect. It's a reasonably easy model to build however, unlike many, it is a real pleasure to build. A bit like Haggard's Type 3 rifle, fairly easy to put together and a really nice finished effect. Other kits like the ones that Jan Rukr put up for download are spectacular when finished but can be a little trying due to the complexity. This one can be grabbed from paper-replika.com. I made a bit of a blue and left out a small spacer between the butt and the receiver but I ain't sayin' nuttin' to nobody 'bout that ! The compound curves were pretty good to make, no hassles anywhere that I could complain about. It was built from 200 gsm card but some of the smaller parts including the curved sections would be easier in 150 gsm. Great model.
