How could I have been a card modeler for the past thirty years and never
hear about AntonĂn Langweil and his model of Prague? And yet I hadn't,
until last week when I googled "papercraft Prague."

He made every building in the city (well, he missed three or four), built
them of scrap paper and wood, and hand painted everything. He did all the
surveying himself by walking through the city, making sketches. It's like
Google Street View created with 1820s technology.
