I have a good mate, Collsie, who is a motor mechanic and runs his own business. He's a bit of a stress merchant so I built this for him as a present. The model is from maquettes-papier.net which seems to no longer exist.
The base is from a 57 Chev I bought from ecardmodels which I imported into the GIMP and changed a few things, I also found a photo of a gorilla and GIMPed his face onto it and then put the thing into the drivers seat so he'll either want to give me a hug or a belt up the side of my head....we shall see in the morning when I give it to him. The model itself is a beauty but I could've done a whole lot better with it, it's not a particularly easy model to make however any imperfections are by my efforts alone and no fault of the model, if I had time I'd rebuild it but...
