My (adult) son is restoring a CHIP motorcycle. Hehas run into a problem with the set up of the pursuit lights. I would be grateful if any California members can shed some (pardon the pun) light. David understands that, as you face the bike, a red non-flashing light is on the right and blue double pluse light is on the left. But was that always the case? Was the blue light ever a red, and if so, what was its flashing mode? If there was a change from red to blue, an indication of when that occurred would be helpful. I'm sure someone in California will be able to help - preferably by onservation, and not by seeing it in the rear view mirror. Bob Pounds Canberra
