This may have some value to some members here.

Being a Linux user now for some 8 years and not having to deal with
Microflaccid Windoze has its many benefits, however not being able to use
Pepakura Viewer has been a pain in the proverbial. This moring I got the latest
version to run under WINE, something that has eluded me for some time now even
though the earlier versions worked natively under WINE.

I'm currently running Mint Linux 17 32 bit and after downloading the latest
Pepakura Viewer I updated WINE to version 1.8 by adding the :ppa via command
line and then installing it with the packet manager after removing the previous
version.

Next was the installation of Pepakura with WINE and getting an error with the
execution. A .dll, opengl32.dll was downloaded from Tamasoft here

http://www.tamasoft.co.jp/pepakura/dlls/opengl32_v4/OPENGL32.DLL

and it was put into the folder /home/user/.wine/drive_c/Program
Files(x86)/tamasoftware/pepakura3en/viewer . Once that was in, using the WINE
configuration program, it was added into the Libraries tab and under the
Applications tab I added the Pepakura executable.

Wonder of wonders much to my amazement the program opened and a .pdo was
imported and it worked !!!! I think I'm going to have to have a bit of a lie
down now to get over the shock.

I haven't tried to print it yet but even if that doesn't work I'll do what I
usually do and open the .pdo in Windoze and print it out as a .pdf with Cutepdf
and then print the sheets out and simply use the program to build with.

I hope this helps somebody here as having to use Windoze or even Windoze
running as a virtual machine to open a .pdo is a big pain at the best of times.
