Praise The Lord.. My dear Brothers & Sisters...
I had gone through the contents of the mail on the abvoe subject., which influenced me to write this mail, sorry that this quiet lengthy.. We all know that the Bible is the Word of God, which is written through Holy Spirit, which should be the basic foundation or prelimanary factor of a Christian....other factors like persons or churches are secondary factors which are influencing & guiding members. So to understand, analyze, explain & interpret Bible in the right way or right sense could only be achieved by a person who borne or indwelling by Holy Spirit, Coz, it is clearly written by Holy Spirit. So the way an ordinary person and a person who leads by Holy spirit is interpreting word of God entirely different manner. Therefore it is very clear that a person who leads by Holy Spirt can only be able to understand & interpret the Word of God in the correct way. So, to analyse whether a person is preaching in the presence of spirit, the listner also should be leads by Spirit. So for a Christian most precious gift is to be filled with Holy Spirit. It is noted in mail that our Church is not perfect?? ok then there is no solution?? instead of rectifying mistakes, still going on..True that to respect our parents is Lord's command. At the same time we r subjected to obey other commands also, by obeying few commands one cannot be justified..Let us take the first commandment of God.. (My dear brothers & sisters I am writing this only because I had bitter experience here in Saudi based on these facts. So I feel it is good to share with u all..& not to hurt or criticize anybody individually or any churches..) "You shall have no other Gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing love to thousand generations of those who love me." (Exodus 20:4-6) Based on this, so many people cross question me whether we r obeying such commandments in our churhes..we are kneel down, bow down, giving offerings to images & so on.....So people asking is there any difference between Christian & Hindus..they r also doing same..When I realized this, it's a real shame for us..Most of the churches r going on like this..some r not aware of this? some aware but couldn't change, it's part of their life, moreover we are giving wrong way of worship to young generations...Just remind the way of worship in early Christians up to 3rd Century...They are worshipping God in Truth & Holyspirit. Their rituals were prayer, prayer meetings, Lord's Supper & baptism.. What about Today ?? After 3rd century lot of rituals have been modified and added..?? Let me reveal the experience which i had; recently two of my colleagues who have thorough knowledge in Bible has been converted to Muslim & more shocking is that one was a Seminary student..why such things happening ?? where made wrong ?? As far as I understood that such things happend only coz of misunderstanding & more over to an extent wrong rituals & worship followed by our Churches...as he is looking at the way of worship & ritulas Vs Word of God...not matching & depart away.. So I believe the other denomination among christians are formed mainly due to discrepancy among worship & rituals & not because of any wordly benefit.. So we don't need to afraid of any Preachers or any Crussade, instead our churches should give prior importance to learn & study Bible in depth & arrange our life, rituals & worship accordingly. So the question of Catholics "being a prey" for such preachers will not arise.. When somebody says truth ..people will crucify him as he is from satan & giving false teaching as the same experienced by Jesus from Pharisees & top priests at that time..and people will try to expell that person..(but God never...!!) & emboss him as a Rebel.. but Who is the rebellious children ; those who obey the Word of God or those who obey deviated teaching of Church ?? 38 "And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us. 39 But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me. 40 For he that is not against us is on our part." (Mark 9:38-40).. "For the Christian, the power of Spiritual life comes from the indwelling of Holy Spirit. As we open our heart to the word of God with its complete perfection and an eagerness to obey it, the Spirit will grow and bear fruit.".. So, we have to obey the word of God through Lord Jesus Christ....in its complete perfection... 15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." (Mark 16:15-18) So it is very clear that if one can do signs & miracles in the name of Lord Jesus as above ; HE IS A MESSENGER OF GOD 7& SPIRITUALLY GIFTED..irrespective of church or denomination... My dear brothers & sisters I am really sorry if this hurt anybody... coz..this is just for a vital thought not meant to anyone personally.. But did you know that among all the Churches in the world if there is any church whose teachings/interpretations of the Bible can be termed as infallible, it is the Catholic Church. Why? Take any other denomination. You will find preachers giving their own personal interpretation. But ONLY in the Catholic Church will you find that any interpretation or official teaching that comes from the Pope, does not come from one person alone but years are spent, by a battalion of Bishops and Bible Scholars who come together as a body and present their findings in front of the Church. These findings are prayed over, discerned and only then are they given out as official teaching/interpretation/stand of the Church on any topic/matter. True the Catholic Church is not perfect. But nor is any parent. Yet, the Lord commands us to respect and honour our Mother and Father not because they dont make mistakes but because it is the Lords command. Again, it is only the Catholic Church whose origin can be traced all the way to the first disciples the early Christians. We are all humans. And the biggest problem human beings have is their ego. It was ego that resulted in the first breakaway group. One person disagreed with the interpretation of the Church and formed his own personal church and today 2000 years later it is the same ego that has caused 1000s of similar breakaway groups. You ask anyone who has left the Catholic Church the reason why they left. And they will say we never got anything from the Church. But arent we supposed to be one body that has different parts that work together. If I am the left hand of the body, am I not supposed to contribute my share of the work/support? Agreed, the Catholic Church has gone wrong in many ways. But today being part of it, we are called to work towards keeping it together and encouraging others to do the same. Again, there is another very crucial angle to this entire episode because of which I sent out such a strong email. Its not just Benny Hinn and his teachings, but there are going to be so many breakaway church groups at the venue waiting like vultures to catch the most venerable prey: the Catholics. Hence we need to dissuade as many people (specially those who are not very strong in their faith) from going for the meeting. >From personal experience in the past, I can promise you there is only confusion and nothing else in these breakaway groups. We are all children of the Catholic Church. It is our responsibility to keep our family united. Like a good mother, the Church has warned us from attending the crusade. She has not forced us.
