Hi Everyone! I'm writing to inquire about a possible posession, although I don't know if the "spirit" is deceased human or demon. (I figure there are people on this list who know a lot more about this sort of thing than I). It involves my former fiance, whose personality suddenly changed - and now it changes back and forth.
He used to be very kind, generous, and giving. He's very intelligent, and he loved women to a fault. But then, he suddenly became moody and even frightened. I knew something was awry when one day he became afraid of me, all because of a headscarf I was wearing. He babbled something about the scarf giving me special powers - even physical powers. I'm 5' 3" and 110 lbs., while he is 5' 10" and 180 lbs, and yet he's physically afraid of me! Even when I took the scarf off, that was somehow not good enough, since I had already "acquired the powers," and he was afraid I would use the scarf to hurt him. I offered him a chance to wear it - thinking that in his mind it would even things out - but he declined. He said it was "women's mysteries." In other words, he suddenly became a real nut case. But then, he will occasionally return to his former sweet self, and would have no memory of how he acted before. In this frame of mind, a scarf is just a scarf. I've talked to several counsellors, and they've given me varied opinions, but none of them regard it as a case of posession. Yet, they could not explain why this alternative personality seems to come and go. They say they can't help me, unless he is willing to commit himself to therapy. His original personality might be open to it, but certainly not the other one. So I'm writing here. What would you suggest I do next? Leslie ------------------------ Yahoo!
