These are some of the topics to be discussed by experts and practitioners of the esoteric arts as the Cebu Paranormal Society (CPS) presents Halloween Festival on Saturday, October 27, 2007 at Resto Eklektik, Kalubihan Road , Talamban, Cebu City . CPS aims to foster linkages with like-minded individuals interested in the paranormal arts and sciences as well as reach out to the broader community through various activities like workshops, trainings, lectures, investigations, among others. The organization also provides services to those who seek help in response to their problems and queries related to the paranormal. As part of its first anniversary celebration, the CPS Halloween Festival will be having booths displaying an array of interesting items, a spirit photography exhibit and a lecture series from morning till afternoon. The lecture series starts at 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM, covering a broad range of topics: Life Behind the Psychic; Spirit Communication and Mediumship; Numerology; Basic Tarot Reading; Spirit Photography; Exorcism and Spiritual Warfare; and Paranormal Investigation. Resource persons include an artist-professor, a guru- martial arts expert, a metaphysical healer-resort owner; a numerologist, an architect-tarot card reader, photography experts and a renowned Manila-based group of psychic volunteers engaged in spirit communication to help the departed in crossing over. The festival also features a dinner buffet and the Hallow's eve masquerade ball - an all-night party experience showcasing top bands like Scapegoat, Black Llama, Echosummer and Maharlika. Activities for the evening also include the launching of the CPS website and the awarding of prizes to winners of the best Halloween costume and best spirit photo.
