A few tips for using the point source to seed streamlines on a planar dataset:
* Set the radius of the seeds to 0 * Set the number of seeds to 1 * Use the 'p' button inside the 3D window to place the point on a visible surface. Only works when the 3D widget is visible For line source, you can use 'p' twice to place the two end points. -berk On Sun, Nov 16, 2008 at 5:46 PM, Fred Fred <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Ok so I think I have succeeded with the following pipeline: bluntfin.vts -> > Slice -> SurfaceVectors -> Glyph > which shows vectors colinear to the plane. > Now I have a problem with placing the seed points since my place has an > arbitrary orientation so it is not easy to determine the line extrema > coordinates to obtain a line contained in the plane.
