Your choices are limited, I am afraid:

* Exodus - unstructured, homogeneous (same element type) blocks only
* Plot3D - curvilinear structured blocks with pressure, velocity, energy only

Xdmf is another choice but has two files (xml and hdf5). I think we
need to develop a good reader for CGNS.
