Maybe I'm being dense, but if you already retrieved the render window, why not just call GetInteractor()?

I want to be able to access it so i can use vrpn and move the object. I have tried earlier retrieving the render window and creating a vtkrenderWindowInteractor (plus adding a trackball to it), however this creates another render window (which is not paraview's) and i need is paraview render window.
