Hey David,

You can do it if you apply the "Generate Surface Normals" filter. That gives you point data "Normals" that can be glyphed.

Maybe someone else that is more well versed in VTK data structures can chime in on why "cellNormals" shows up in the color combo-box but is not really considered to be a real point or cell data attribute (i.e. doesn't show up in the Information pane as a Data Array).
