It looks like I may have forgotten to paste the most important error!
ERROR: In
/home/doriad/src/ParaView3/Servers/Common/vtkProcessModuleConnectionManager.cxx,
line 192
vtkProcessModuleConnectionManager (0xdd64560): Failed to set up server socket.
Does anyone know what would cause this?
