Well, the building on my machine does work now, making a clean build.
Still, the configuring problem remains, I found a post about this issue:
http://www.paraview.org/pipermail/paraview/2008-October/009803.html
and it was said that the problem was fixed in CMake.
Is there a chance that it has to do with file permissions?
