Franco, Thank you for this report. There is a bug in ParaView using this dataset. If you do the following: * Sources/ Wavelet/ Apply * Representation/ Surface. * Clip/ Apply. Notice that you see the clip volume as a white set of lines forming a cube. This is correct behavior.
If you do the same with your dataset, the clip volume is in the wrong location, and scaled incorrectly. This is a bug. Your workaround does seem to work correctly. I will log this as a bug, targeted for 3.8.0 Alan > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of > [email protected] > Sent: Thursday, September 24, 2009 7:58 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: [Paraview] Bounding box problem with slice and clip > > Hello, > > In this days i'm working with paraview but i have a big > > problem. > > Infact when i try to create a slice or a clip of a mesh the > > bounding box that paraview create is smaller than the real > bounding box > > of the mesh. > > My jobmate and I have solved this problem by increasing > > the coordinate system of a factor 1.00001 . > > Is there another solution? > > Could you help us? > > thanks > franco dassi > > > p.s. i give you the file > > speed.inp that gives us this problem. > > > > SCARICA TISCALI WIPHONE: parla e invia SMS gratis dal tuo cellulare. > > http://wiphone.tiscali.it _______________________________________________ Powered by www.kitware.com Visit other Kitware open-source projects at http://www.kitware.com/opensource/opensource.html Please keep messages on-topic and check the ParaView Wiki at: http://paraview.org/Wiki/ParaView Follow this link to subscribe/unsubscribe: http://www.paraview.org/mailman/listinfo/paraview
