You could try using lookmarks, which are design to save a portion of the state and then apply that to different input data. Lookmarks are created by clicking on the lookmark icon in that little bar above the view.
That said, although lookmarks are nice when they work, they tend to be quite inflexible. Coming soon we are planning to replace the lookmark functionality with a more configurable macro capability that is driven by Python scripting. -Ken On 10/13/09 5:22 AM, "Karin ...." <[email protected]> wrote: Can you save a specific layout in Paraview and then reload another data into it? For example every time I load a update on my figure, the color legend changes and I have to change all the settings again. I also have to insert all the textboxes again, and I find it quite annoying. **** Kenneth Moreland *** Sandia National Laboratories *********** *** *** *** email: [email protected] ** *** ** phone: (505) 844-8919 *** web: http://www.cs.unm.edu/~kmorel
