Hmmm. Someone will probably chime in with an easier way. I would try combining an autostart plugin and a python extension. See ADD_PARAVIEW_AUTO_START and ADD_PYTHON_EXTENSION in ParaView3/CMake/ParaViewPlugins.cmake
