OK,
So my choice is to help fix the bug in the Plotting code in ParaView or "work-around" lack of support in my own code by maybe swapping in/ out arrays of the proper length to kind of "fake" the time support. Just trying to gather an estimation for an upcoming review by the client.

Last time I checked, (about a year ago) ParaView's latest plot
interface did not respect that flag array. It isn't so much a problem
the vtkTable (vtk valid point mask was just an array which the table
has no problem including) as it is with the plotting code not looking
for it and respecting it.

I thought I filed a bug for that, but can't find it at the moment.
I'll file one now.

And what about time support? Does vtkTable support the
"VTK_VALID_POINT_MASK" or something else?

Not sure. It is easy to use though. Think of it as a loose container
for a collection of arrays. Each array is a column. The columns all
have to have the same length (rows).

Quarterly
maybe? Looking at the Doxygen at the moment..

Use vtkTable now for plotting and charting. The way ParaView used to
plot 1D rect grids and sometimes vtkPolyData polylines directly is
gone now.

looking to track down what the problem is? Is there a better data type
