Seeing mangolia.stl no problems 3.8.0rc2 on Centos 5.4 64bit (see attached) This is one I built myself not a precompile binary. HTH Paul

PV do not crash. I just see nothing in the render view. Furthermore, with Paraview Linux 3.2.2, STL files are rendered.
