When I install paraview, there is a step where the installer does this:

 Removed runtime path from
"/usr/global/tools/Kitware/Paraview/3.10/chaos_4_x86_64_ib/bin/pvserver"

The result is an executable that does not work any more without setting
LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Why does the installer do this and how can I prevent it?

I looked in CMakeCache.txt and see this:

CMAKE_SKIP_RPATH:BOOL=NO

then confusingly, this:

CMAKE_SKIP_RPATH-ADVANCED:INTERNAL=1

Thanks!
