Right now the cave-mode and the tiled-diplay-mode are sort of mutually-exclusive. At any time you can use either one but not both. The cave-mode currently only uses the data-server::client setup but not the data-server::render-server::client setup. We will keep this requirement in mind for future enhancements to the cave-mode. Like Aashish mentioned, our current round of funding focuses on interaction, enhanced stereo and the bringing in ability to plug-in numerous input (primarily tracked input) into the cave-mode. I will let someone else answer this question. But I would like to > mention that we are working on a related project and as part of that > we are re-factoring some of the cave configuration (adding support for > tracker configuration, devices), stereo computation (better stereo) > and interactions in VR (via wand etc) environment.
