either it's working for people, or nobody actually knows it exists :-)

I hadn't realized it was now in the source tree. I'm going to enable it in my
Fedora builds. But yeah, seems like it should be on by default.
I also think that paraview/vtk should support gstreamer and thus pluggable
codecs.
