Thanks Paul! Decreasing the z-shift solved the issue.

Try changing the value of the z-shift in the settings window (option under
render view) - make the number smaller.

Hello all,

I am using the StreamTracer filter on a SurfaceVectors filter to get surface
streamlines on CFD data. The problem is that the rendered view shows portions
of the traces that should be hidden by the surface representation of the CFD
grid. This makes for a confusing picture. I can't find a way to resolve this
issue through the rendering options in the GUI. Should I be making my surface
traces a different way? Any help would be appreciated.

I am using Paraview 3.10.1 64-bit Linux, but the same thing happens in 3.14.1
64-bit Linux.

Thanks,
Bryan
